“Wellness encompasses a healthy body, a sound mind and a tranquil spirit. Enjoy the journey as you strive for wellness.”
— Laurette Gagnon Beaulieu
About me…
Things that bring me joy
Coffee and gelato (equally!)
Riding bicycles (a lot!)
Living at Casa Lobo (our 40-acre home at the base of Hatcher Pass, Alaska)
My husband (this is not in preferential order, ha!).
I love reading, hiking, yoga, and admiring the beauty of the outdoors.
Real life
People in my community think of me as a successful endurance athlete. What most don’t know is that I have struggled with chronic fatigue, adrenal and thyroid dysfunction, gut dysbiosis, and hormonal issues. Obstacles being what they are (opportunities in disguise!) these health challenges are what led me to finding functional medicine. While the details of my story may be different from yours, my struggles have given me the gift of deep empathy for each of my client’s individual stories. It is my hope that my commitment to my own health will in turn inspire others to do the same.
